Studies of the Mizdakhkan complex
The Mizdakhkan complex is one of the most significant historical and cultural sites in Central Asia, located on the territory of Karakalpakstan, near the city of Nukus. This ancient necropolis is a complex of structures, including mausoleums, fortress ruins and sacred graves belonging to different historical eras.
Archaeological research indicates that Mizdakhkan was inhabited in the ancient period and played an important role in the cultural and religious life of the region. The architectural objects discovered on this territory allow us to study the features of urban planning, funerary traditions and handicraft production of ancient peoples.
